When your cousin says, “Let’s celebrate in Vegas,” you know it’s about to be a good time! My family and I recently took a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. It was everything we needed. It was more than we expected. We stayed at a beautiful hotel with balcony views. We went ATV riding in the desert. We also spent a day at the Hoover Dam. I enjoyed The Ghost Town Explorer: Day Trip. This trip was packed with memories we’ll never forget.

🏨 Where We Stayed: Balcony Views & Vibes
We stayed in a hotel right near the strip with a room that had an amazing balcony view. MGM signature suites. Waking up to the sunrise was one of my favorite parts of the trip. Watching the city lights at night was also a highlight. The hotel was clean and modern. It was super close to everything. Food, entertainment, and nightlife were all right around the corner.
If you’re big on views, I definitely recommend finding a room with a balcony. It makes such a difference when you want to chill, sip, and just soak in the Vegas energy from above.
🍽️ Birthday Dinner & Walking the Strip
For the birthday celebration, we started the night off with dinner at a nice spot near the strip. Great food, good drinks, and a vibe that felt just right for a special occasion. After dinner, we hit the Las Vegas Strip for a little late-night fun.
The lights, the music, the crowd — walking the strip at night is an experience all on its own. We stopped for a few drinks, watched the Bellagio fountains, and took so many pictures. It was the perfect way to celebrate and just enjoy the city energy.
🏜️ Desert Adventures & Hoover Dam Moments
We wanted to do more than just city things. We booked an ATV tour through the desert. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. It was wild, dusty, and so much fun. Riding through the open desert with the mountains in the background was such a thrill.
Another major highlight was visiting the Hoover Dam. The views are unreal and it’s one of those places that makes you stop and really take it all in. It’s peaceful, powerful, and so worth the drive.
If you ever get the chance to explore outside the strip — do it! There’s so much more to Vegas than casinos and shows.
✈️ Final Thoughts: Vegas Was a Vibe!
We had an amazing time — the food, the views, the excitement, the calm moments, the laughs. This trip was everything we hoped for and more. Vegas is one of those places that offers something new each visit. I’m already thinking about when I can go back.
