Let’s talk about MLM—the good, the bad, and the real. Multi-Level Marketing has been a major part of my journey, and if you’re thinking about joining one or you’re already in the trenches, this post is for you.

I started my MLM journey with big dreams, hungry for freedom, extra income, and that boss lifestyle. And let me tell you, there are real wins. I’ve earned recognition, hit sales goals, built a team, and made thousands doing what I love—sharing products and uplifting women. “Make Money in Your Free Time with This Hustle Guide”

But that doesn’t mean it’s always been easy.

✨ The Highs:

  • Financial Wins: When you put in the work, the money can come. I’ve made $9K+ a year selling jewelry part-time. Not bad for something I did on my own time!
  • Recognition & Growth: From ‘Life of the Party’ awards to Director status, MLMs do celebrate your success—and that motivation hits different.
  • Sisterhood & Support: I’ve met some amazing people through this business. It feels good being around others who get the hustle.
  • Flexible Freedom: I could work from home, go live, or pack orders late at night. It fit my life.https://stan.store/DeeGurl86/p/hustle-playbook-

💔 The Lows:

  • Inconsistent Income: Some months are poppin’, others? Crickets. If you don’t work, you don’t eat—period.
  • The Hustle is Real: Success in MLM doesn’t fall in your lap. It takes consistency, marketing, learning, and staying visible even when you’re tired.
  • The Stigma: People will doubt you. Some will unfollow, some will question if it’s even a “real” business. You gotta have thick skin.
  • Team Building Pressure: Leading a team is rewarding—but not everyone wants to work. That can get discouraging fast. https://stan.store/DeeGurl86/p/hustle-playbook-

🧠 Mindset Matters:

One thing MLM taught me? Your mindset is your superpower. If you walk in thinking it won’t work—you’re right. But if you show up, learn new skills, stay positive even when it’s slow, you’ll outlast 90% of folks who quit at the first “no.”

You’ll face rejection, ghosting, and people who tell you “that stuff never works.” But here’s what I learned: it works if you work it. Struggling to Stay Consistent

💡 A Few Tips to Make MLM Work for You:

  1. Be Consistent. Show up—even when nobody’s buying yet. Post, go live, follow up. The money comes from momentum.
  2. Treat It Like a Business. Not a hobby. Schedule your time. Set monthly goals. Track your wins.
  3. Brand YOU. People don’t just buy products—they buy you. Be authentic, share your story, and let people connect with the real you.
  4. Train Your Team, But Don’t Babysit. Pour into your leaders, but don’t drain yourself trying to force people to work.
  5. Have Multiple Streams. MLM is one lane, but smart bosses use that platform to build more—blogs, ebooks, digital products, courses, and more. https://stan.store/DeeGurl86/p/hustle-playbook-

So Is MLM Worth It?

That’s up to you. For me, MLM was a stepping stone. It gave me confidence, taught me how to market, and helped me fund other parts of my business. It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme, but if you treat it like a business, it can bless your life.

If you’re in MLM or thinking about it, just know this: the grind is real, but so is the growth. Just keep your eyes open, stay true to YOU, and don’t let anyone make you feel small for chasing your bag your way. https://stan.store/DeeGurl86/p/hustle-playbook-
